Transparency

Financials & sustainability

Aurea Doula Alliance is a mission-driven standards and registry initiative. This page describes stewardship principles, transparency commitments, and public governance practices.

Intended model

How we plan to fund the standard

A credible standard should not depend on a single training provider's commercial interests. Our intended revenue mixes mission-aligned sources.

1Verification, not paywalls
Credential verification for families and institutions would remain free and public.
2Assessment fees
A, cost-recovery exam and renewal fee for candidates — kept low and waivable for those who need it.
3Institutional support
Optional partnerships with hospitals, plans, and community organizations who want a neutral standard.
4Grants & philanthropy
Mission-aligned grants to support public-standard development and equitable access.

Commitment to transparency

Once formally established, we intend to publish an annual summary of revenue, expenses, and governance — including any relationship to related commercial entities, disclosed plainly.

Financial disclosures are organized around program use, registry operations, education activity, sponsorship, and governance review.

Formation status

Aurea Doula Alliance develops standards, education pathways, certificate records, ethics, renewal practices, and registry verification for maternal and newborn care.
