Treat every family with dignity, equity, and cultural responsiveness.

Protect personal and family information; share only with consent or when required by law.
3Safety First
Prioritize the physical and emotional safety of parent and baby; refer promptly when needed.
4Scope of Practice
Work within defined limits; do not provide medical advice or treatment outside your role.
5Consent
Obtain informed consent for care and for any shared records or references.
6No Harm
Avoid conflicts of interest and any form of exploitation or discrimination.
7Honesty
Represent training, experience, and credentials accurately.
8Accountability
Be open to feedback and to a fair review process for concerns.
9Equity
Support access to quality care regardless of background or means.
10Continuous Learning
Keep skills and knowledge current through ongoing education.
Ethics vs. credentials
AUREA does not currently issue professional certifications or credentials. This website demonstrates a proposed public registry for training completion records and possible future professional credentials.
