How AUREA intends to be governed

AUREA is being developed as a credible, independent standard-setting initiative. The structures below describe what AUREA intends to establish after legal formation — they are not yet in force.

Intended governance structure

AUREA intends to establish independent governance after legal formation, including:

• An independent board responsible for standards, policy, and oversight
• Standing committees for standards development, ethics, and provider review
• A public-comment and consensus process for draft standards
• Documented, published decision-making and meeting records

None of these structures are active today. AUREA currently operates as an initiative in formation, not a constituted organization.

Conflict-of-interest controls

AUREA intends to adopt written conflict-of-interest policies covering its board, committees, and any related commercial entities. A key element is transparency about related parties.

Any future recognition of Luran or another training provider must follow published criteria and independent governance review — never automatic or undocumented.

Transparency commitments

AUREA intends to publish, after establishment:

• Annual reports and, if applicable, financial statements
• Public policies, including the standards, ethics, and accountability procedures
• The secure registry backend and its record-management procedures
• Clear, public provider-review criteria and decisions
